The Legacy Society
The Legacy Society was established in May 2000 by the Board of Trustees to honor those alumni and friends who have made planned gifts to Christian Theological Seminary.
Planned Gifts are gifts that are established in wills, charitable trusts, annuities, life insurance contracts or pension plans. Some of the seminary’s most significant gifts have been made through the foresight and planning of our alumni and friends. This tradition has helped CTS remain strong and is the foundation upon which the seminary builds to meet the needs of the next century.
In recognition of the esteem in which we hold Legacy Society Members, we are pleased to present them with a beautiful glass etching of Sweeney Chapel, invitations to an annual recognition dinner and program, and cite their names with our thanks in the Link Publication.
As you review and update your Estate Plan, please consider becoming a Legacy Society Member. I will be delighted to offer any assistance you may need. As I travel throughout the country I will be happy to meet with you and help you with your gift planning.
Your gifts are a wonderful way to help our students, who appreciate the support they receive. As M-DIV student James Rowe told us, "I feel as if the donors who are making my seminary studies possible are instruments of God helping me to attain a lifelong dream."
